The Registro Italiano Rover was born thanks to continuos correspondence and huge archive of P6 worlwide famous, Germany based Rover enthusiast Rudiger Wicke who put in touch 3 italian Rover nuts.

The three guys, tired not to have any club catering for their cars or taking care to promote the once glorious Rover brand name, on december 2001 took the plunge and made the insane decision to fill this empty space, founding the “Registro Italiano Rover”

The club goals are the census of all classic Rovers in Italy, rally and meeting organization, promotion of Rover brand.

In order to clarify what we mean for “classic” Rover, we are open to all

pre-war models, all the P2,P3,P4,P5,P6 and SD1 series up to ’80.

We can provide our members with informations, technical advice, spare parts sourcing and, last but not least, moral support during the dark ownership moments sometime occur during our loving relationship with our beloved creatures.

The club is a non profit organization and strictly runs on voluntary basis

You won’t find any mercenary or advisor with private interest between us
